The goal was to create a dramatic, high stakes, high visibility world in which the tragedy could unfurl. This was a site-specific production in an improv comedy venue. The production utilized the entire space. This included a main stage area transformed into a light box, a side stage area turned into a grayscale runway, and a bar behind the audience. The set was constructed with a small-budget-so-let’s-get-creative mindset.
